"Finite State Machine Labs Inc. (FSMLabs) and Quanser Inc. announced today that they are joining together to support Quanser's SimulinuxRT (SLX) products on RTLinux. SimulinuxRT brings Mathworks industry standard Matlab, Simulink and RealTime Workshop products to RTLinux with exceptional performance. With SimulinkRT, engineers and scientists can develop RTLinux control applications by drawing Simulink diagrams - without any programming and with up to 50kHz rates on standard PCs. Because the non-realtime components of SLX run in Linux, all the power of the networked Linux environment and all the development tools available in Linux are available as well."

"Under the FSMLabs/Quanser partnership, FSMLabs provides RTLinux support to Quanser - the exclusive FSMLabs partner for Simulink and Realtime Workshop. SLX will ship with both FSMLabs V2.3 and V3.0 RTLinux CDs. These distributions are based on the RedHat 6.2 release, which is augmented with RTLinux hard realtime-enabled Linux kernels, the RTLinux realtime kernel and related software. Quanser and FSMLabs will work together to assure the reliability and performance of Quanser software on RTLinux."
