Oct 17, 2000, 11:27 (0 Talkback[s])

Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"PeeWee Linux is an attempt to make the configuration and installation of a Linux operating system on an embedded platform as painless as possible. Based on Red Hat 6.2, PeeWee Linux provides a gui configuration tool, USB capabilities, and X support. Single floppy systems may also be built out of PeeWee Linux."

"I just finished uploading PeeWeeLinux 0.52 to sourceforge. The target build functions are now integrated into pwlconfig. The 2.2.17 kernel has been buil and a full featured kernel package is included."

"Treat this carfully as the pwlconfig integration hasn't been fully tested yet. Also, not all of the 2.2.17 kernel packages have been tested either."
