"SuSE Linux today announced a joint venture with Information Network Center (INC) Co. Ltd, a South Korean IT company. Together, they are launching SuSE Linux Korea Co. Ltd based in Seoul, Korea."

"With the new joint venture, SuSE hopes to extend its open source initiatives, development and sales activities into the Asian market. "The Korean IT industry has grown very rapidly," said Dirk Hohndel, CTO of SuSE Linux AG. "With INC as our partner, a well-established and thoroughly appreciated company within the growing high-tech centre of Seoul, we are ready to deliver high-quality Linux and open source applications to our customers in Korea."

"Since its foundation in 1998, Information Network Center Co. Ltd has successfully established itself as an IT publishing house. Its "Linux Magazine" is a well-respected publication and is the only printed magazine focusing on Linux and Unix in the Korean market. INC Co. Ltd has built up a wide distribution network and contributes extensively to the Korean fonts development according to Korean standards."
