"IBM Japan Ltd. is giving demonstrations at the Bluetooth Developers Conference in San Jose, California, from December 5-7, highlighting uses for a watch-type device that communicates with a notebook PC via Bluetooth technology."

"The firm had already unveiled the watch-type device, which runs on the Linux operating system, in August 2000."

"The device's Bluetooth module can be found underneath the black component on the right-hand side of the watch. ... The module is controlled by the Linux Bluetooth driver (development code name: BlueDrekar) developed by IBM Corp.'s IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center."
