"In an attempt to speed the release of FHS 2.2 (a requirement for a good LSB), I have offered to collate a list of all known issues, and provide patches to the nroff source of the FHS 2.1 document with resolutions. These will then be submitted to Dan Quinlan for final approval."

"Note that the wording in the patches accords with the current definition of 'required' as specified in section 1.8 (see G00008-D):

Every file or directory which is part of the implementation must be physically located as specified in this document.
Each item will be enumerated, for reference, and color coded."
