[ Thanks to Doug Loss for this announcement and link. ]

Johan Hartzenberg has set up the LinuxInAfrica mailing list at http://www.egroups.com/group/LinuxInAfrica. This is an informal, unmoderated discussion group for Linux Users in Africa to allow for sharing and combined learning about Linux and other Open Source operating systems.

This list is intended for anyone in Africa who is using or interested in using Linux. While all Africans are invited to join, we'd especially like to encourage those from outside South Africa to join as it tends to be more difficult for them to connect with other people interested in Linux than it is for South Africans.
