"You may recognize Kevin as one of the key contributors to the Blackdown project or one of the people spearheading the effort to port OpenOffice to PowerPC Linux. Most people may have only heard of Kevin through references at geek tabloids on the subject of friction between Blackdown and Sun over the handling of the Linux release."

"Kevin is the Associate Professor of Operations and Information Technology at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. He holds BS.EE, MEng EE, MBA, MS, and PhD degrees all from Cornell University."

"He started playing with paper tapes on a pdp 11 in the EE lab at Cornell in 1979. He has been using Unix off and on since then as part of his research. He started using Linux with MkLinux and has been a Mac fan since getting his SE/30."
