"The Open Source Development Network (OSDN.com), a division of VA Linux Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: LNUX) today announced the launch of Linux Kernel Month, a network-wide focus on the recently released Linux kernel. OSDN's Linux Kernel Month will feature events, articles and how-tos focusing on the 2.4 kernel release."

"As part of its ongoing efforts in community outreach, OSDN will also present special showings of "Revolution OS," a 90-minute non-technical documentary on the early history of Linux and the Open Source movement. For Linux User Groups (LUGs), OSDN will provide "LUG-in-a-Box" kits providing useful presentation materials on the 2.4 kernel, as well as bonus giveaways to support regional LUG meetings focusing on the new kernel release."

"OSDN's Linux Kernel Month is the first in a series of Technology Months presented by OSDN. Further information on OSDN's Linux Kernel Month activities is available at The Kernel Bazaar at http://osdn.com/bazaar/linuxkernel/.
