Jan 30, 2001, 18:53 (0 Talkback[s])

"LPI invites intermediate and advanced Linux system administrators to participate in a Job Analysis Survey for the Level 2 program. This survey, in keeping with standard psychometric practice, is designed to assist LPI to determine the necessary tasks to be tested by its intermediate-level Linux administration exams.

"We're excited to be moving ahead with Level 2," said Kara Pritchard, LPI Director of Exam Development. "The community has been telling us of the importance of quickly developing our advanced programs, and we intend to deliver a high-quality exam program as we did for Level 1." The Level 2 Job Analysis Survey is open to the community, and is accessible from the home page of the LPI website at www.lpi.org."

"The Level 2 Job Analysis Survey is similar in form to the one carried out by LPI for its junior-level certification in April 1999. The Level 2 survey is made up of 19 parts, each of which takes between 10 and 20 minutes to complete. Participants may complete as few, or as many parts as they wish; however, LPI encourages participants, if possible, to respond to all of the parts."
