Users planning on buying SuSE Linux 7.1 for their loved ones will have to find another gift alternative for Valentine's Day.

According to information appearing on the SuSE Web site, both the Personal and Professional versions of SuSE Linux 7.1 will not be shipped in the U.S. until February 15th.

A spokesperson for SuSE, Inc., SuSE Linux AG's US division, said the delay only affects the U.S. shipments. The reason for the three-day delay is cited as "shipment issues." The delay in no way changes the contents of the software package.

The German version of SuSE 7.1 has already been released, the company said.
