Uniforum Chicago is holding a special meeting where Daniel Bovet, co-author of the O'Reilly book "Understanding the Linux Kernel", will talk about modern kernel design and the Linux kernel. The meeting will be held Thursday March 8th, at Fermilab in Wilson Hall, at 7:00 PM.
Dan also wants to talk to anyone seriously interested in porting Linux to PDAs, after the main meeting.
