"A little more information on the planned Sharp Linux-based Zaurus PDAs came to light today as the company announced it is partnering with Hannover, Germany-based PacketVideo to introduce wireless multimedia capabilities to the devices, slated for arrival third quarter of this year."
"According to the company, PacketVideo will provide its PVPlayer software for the new line. PVPlayer is a streaming multimedia package, already distributed for PocketPC-based devices, that provides MPEG4 video wirelessly. The software that serves PVPlayer content can accept WAV audio, AVI and MPEG streams."
