"When we were offered the opportunity to play with Pogo's Velocity workstation a few weeks ago, we were pretty excited. The Velocity model we received is an extremely powerful box filled with quality components. The original motto of Pogo was something like "no cheap parts", and the Velocity is a prime example."

"The picture above only hints at how cool the case really does look. The smoked front bezel swings out to reveal a CDRW drive, two removable hard drive trays and a Zip 250MB. A Sony 12x/8x/32x CD-RW (a sweet drive) is also included. Of course, the standard 1.44M floppy is also included."

"The configuration we received for review was priced at $1844, although prices for the Velocity line start around $1500."
