I received a link to this in an email from Wave/Thomson Learning. Yep, they're trying to sell you something, but it's a good sign to see Linux making such a big impression with a major training company.
"Linux is not only here to stay, it's taking over!"
"Over the past few weeks, there has been much talk and speculation about the mayhem surrounding Linuxgruven's demise. Observers noted that their practices were questionable at best and rumors abound of lawsuits to come. But what does all of this mean for Linux, and the future of Linux training? The market indicates that the long-term effects of Linuxgruven will be of little consequence. Although Linuxgruven's founders deny any covert business practices on their part, the results are the same - students showed up to empty classrooms, more than 100 people are out of a job and everyone involved is looking to recuperate their financial losses. With such a fledgling technology, one might believe that this would be a major blow. But in recent months, Linux has gained unprecedented momentum, and the industry is forging ahead."
