LinuxISO.org: PostgreSQL, Introduction and Concepts book reviewApr 23, 2001, 19:00 (7 Talkback[s])(Other stories by Alex Graven) [ Thanks to Carlie for this link. ] "Quite frankly, I'm glad this book exists, because the limiting factor for me in terms of learning about databases has been not having a book like this around. Now that I have this reference, I can apply my thirst for knowledge to that endeavour. In terms of the street cred of the author: he is a founding member of the PostgreSQL development team and has taken the time and trouble to document how to use it, complete with sample code, common pitfalls, and to document his inside knowledge and experience. A nice lagniappe (bonus) is the companion website, with corrections and links to more material. All in all, a worthwhile effort - and a useful addition to any developer's library." Related Stories:
