The mission of Agenda is to bring users a new family of powerful and portable Linux computers at affordable prices (we all like that). Agenda's vision is to deliver all the things users have come to expect in a handheld device on an exciting computing platform that's packed with the CPU power, the memory and the storage needed to handle desktop-class applications.
Each Agenda VR3 and VR3r is loaded with unique software and hardware features like 16MB of Flash memory (hint- flash eliminates the problem of data loss associated with RAM-based units), something unheard for a list price of $249. It also supports 7 languages, is e-mail compatible, and will send a memo or message to a printer by wireless infrared transfer. Jeff has been working with the VR3 for the last couple days, and has a number of personal observations about the product, including a report about his 10 year old daughter Elizabeth and her interaction with the VR3.
