Sun has offered to help IBM clean up its Linux mess.
article at ZDNet reports that on the eve of the finale of its
worldwide volunteer week, Sun has offered to step in and help IBM
clean up the sidewalks of the graffiti the company's PR agency
painted on the sidewalks of San Francisco and Chicago.
Though the material used to make the graffiti, variously
referred to as "paint" or "chalk", was supposed to wash off after a
rain, several reports indicated that it didn't. The cities of
Chicago and San Francisco threatened legal action, and one employee
of IBM's ad agency was arrested for vandalism.
The ads were part of IBM's "Peace, Love, and Linux" ad campaign,
featuring a peace sign, a heart, and Tux.
