I don't know whether this one's on line: it is in ink on paper, page 29 of the Puget Sound Computer User for May 2001. It's by Maggie Biggs, who's been asking everyone she knows why they don't use Linux. Pervasive answer: "Tried it once & didn't like it." Meaning 5 years ago.

So, says Maggie Biggs, Linux-likers have got to spread the word that Linux 2001 is NOT Linux 1996 or even Linux 1999.

I've seen that observation nowhere else.
