A 20-year-old Chicago man today admitted spray painting
IBM Corp. advertising symbols on a Lincoln Park sidewalk and was
sentenced to a year of supervision and 30 hours of community
Additionally, IBM said today it has paid the city more than
$18,000 to cover the cost of removing the "peace, love and Linux"
ads from 105 sidewalks in the Lincoln Park, Hyde Park, Wicker Park
and Lakeview neighborhoods.
