Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

The latest version of Linux for computers using the Hewlett Packard PA-RISC processor was released May 31. The PA-RISC Linux 0.9 release is the result of several years of work by developers in the free software community including developers from The Debian Project, Hewlett Packard, and Linuxcare.

  • Support for large memory (up to 16GB)
  • Full development environment
  • Support for 32 and 64 bit systems
  • Latest Debian Installer
  • Over 4000 Debian packages
  • Ability to use Debian's apt tool to update to the latest package versions
