"Gordano, Ltd. Thursday released a Linux version of
GLMail, its high-performance, Unix-based mail server.
"Requests for Unix versions of our award winning products were
becoming more frequent, and we do respond to our customers'
suggestions whenever possible. Due to our design architecture and
its independence from any one operating system, we were able to
create a product for the Linux platform very quickly," Gordano
Managing Director, Brian Dorricott said in a prepared
statement.
GLMail is a standards-compliant mail server whose features
include configuration and remote access via any Web browser; mail
directory and search capabilities; message and log archiving with
automatic compression; recovery procedures; LDAP connectivity; Mail
Meta Language (MML) scripting; and a caching Web proxy server."
