LPI is moving forward quickly with development of the Level 2 certification exams. In June we held an on-site Item Writing Development session with a group of 9 subject matter experts which was very successful. Now we are accepting public submissions for Items to continue our community development model that made LPI's Level 1 such a success.

Now we are inviting you to participate in the Item Writing development. We are looking for items in all of our objective areas (see here for the objective list) however we need special attention toward the objectives related to: DNS, General Networking, Security, Troubleshooting, and Web. Your participation will be key in our goals to publish our Beta exams this summer with final exams released in October.

To participate, visit http://www.LPI.org/ and subscribe to the LPI Exam Development mailing list (mail listar@lpi.org with subscribe lpi-examdev in the SUBJECT of the message).

For further details, copies of the objectives or item writing instructions, or if you have general questions about the Linux Professional Institute's Exam Development process, please contact me directly, kara@lpi.org or call 618-398-7360.
