Another review of the Agenda VR3 PDA. Though it's called
"decent" in the review, the primary fascination, as with other
reviews, continues to be the OS, not the performance. Good words
for the developer community surrounding the device:
"Ah, what a geek toy! And a decent PDA as well. Is it
on the level of Palm or Handspring? No, certainly not. Or more
correctly, no, not yet. Currently, Linux users will be able to take
full advantage of the VR3 and its tools. However, Windows users
will be a little disappointed. Agenda Computing realizes this, and
is pushing Windows development as hard as they can.
In my personal opinion, what really makes the VR3 though is the
community around it. With useful software popping out of the
community almost daily, the VR3 becomes ever more functional.
Whether it is new software or updated versions, the group is highly
active, and helpful [see the Agenda mailing lists]."
