SEUL/edu is the discussion group for those interested in using Linux for education. This covers all aspects of educational uses of Linux, by teachers, parents, and students.

This week: Tux Typing has announced its 1.0pre1 release, FSF Europe has started up an education mailing list, Metadot Corporation announced that it has committed to donate $1 million worth of Internet software to more than 100 disadvantaged schools in 20 developing countries, in conjunction with the Schlumberger Excellence in Educational Development Internet connectivity program, SEUL/edu has just started a new project: collecting and publishing case studies on the use of Linux in schools
