LinuxPR: Tulsa Linux Users Group Offers Free Introductory Linux Classes

"The Tulsa Linux Users Group is excited to announce a series of classes introducing the Linux operating system to the novice user. The Tulsa LUG is providing these classes as a public service to promote the use of Linux in government, education and business.

The classes will be given in four parts beginning on Saturday, October 13th at 10 am in the fourth floor conference room of the Tulsa City-County Central Library. The remaining classes will be the second Saturday of each month at the same place and time. Each class will last about two hours, will be videotaped, and will be made available through the Tulsa Linux Users Group.

Linux is a free, secure, fast and stable operating system developed by a group of programmers worldwide on the internet. Linux is growing in popularity every day, and is growing in popularity as a highly dependable and secure operating system for network and internet services."
