Have you checked www.netcraft.net numbers lately? Graphs
indicate that for august, MS IIS made a jump of .59 at the expense
of Apache dropping -.65. Wonder if .NET is a reason for this but
also who made the big change in web servers?
"The Netcraft Web Server Survey is a survey of Web
Server software usage on the Internet. Netcraft received responses
to its August 2001 survey from 30,775,624 sites, a decrease of more
than 500,000 compared to the number of responses received in July.
This is the first such decline in the survey's five-year history.
Netcraft attributes the decline to failures and business model
changes at several mass hosting companies."
