"Visual Scheduling Systems tells us that their Visual Classroom Scheduler V3.2 is now Java based and so will run on Linux. Their website seems very Windows-specific, though, and we haven't yet verified that the software will run properly on Linux.

"Skip Gaede wrote up the process to use PPC Macs as LTSP clients for the K12OS website . This is quite useful, as many K-12 schools have Macs installed quite widely. James Jensen also updated Richard Camp's HOWTO on combining MOSIX with K12LTSP (mentioned in the last report) to use OpenMosix with K12LTSP. This is important because the status of MOSIX as free software is unclear at the moment..."
