Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

Beta testing is now complete, on the Linux Mandrake 8.2 three-CD set. Among the new features are installation support in more than 40 languages, and a new minimal install mode that fits the system into 65 MBytes.

Also new is a re-designed Mandrake Control Center providing LogDrake, a graphical front-end to the system's log files, DrakInst, which allows easy creation of an auto-install floppy, and a new PrinterDrake that allows for easier setup of printers and print-servers. DiskDrake (the graphical disk partitioner) supports network filesystems (SMB and NFS), Windows network browsing and now an encrypted filesystem to protect your data. Only $5.95 at LinuxCentral.
