"Sharp has announced a new Linux-based handheld for the Japanese

Tokyo on Monday. The Zaurus SL-A300 uses the Linux operating system
and will be available in Japan starting on 12 July for 50,000 yen
"Although there is a tendency for Japanese companies to
introduce a product in Japan before bringing it to the United
States and Europe, US representatives of Sharp said Monday that
there are no plans to introduce the SL-A300 in the United States.
