Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"Larry Ellison, the chairman and CEO of Oracle and recent
participant in the 'Unbreakable Linux' festivities, will deliver
the keynote speech at next month's LinuxWorld Conference and Expo
on San Francisco, it was announced Wednesday.
"Ellison joined with Red Hat, Dell, and others in the
'Unbreakable Linux' announcement June 5. In so doing, he endorsed
Red Hat as the distribution of choice for new Oracle products. The
'Unbreakable Linux' partnership came after four Linux distributions
joined in 'UnitedLinux,' an effort to create a common distribution
in hope of gaining server market share from the dominant Red Hat.
