"Just about two weeks ago, we took a look at Lite-On's latest internal drive at 52x24x52x speeds and it was an impressive component, beating out the previous leader from Lite-On. In that review, we also took a look at one of their older external drives which was rated at 24x10x40x. To say the least, we weren't as impressed with Lite-On's external offering. As you would expect, Lite-On didn't like what we had to say and so they sent their latest external drive running at 40x24x40x to show what they really had going on in today's external market. The question we now have to answer is whether this drive can really show the last drive up. Let's see if Lite-On made a good move by sending it over..."
