TransGaming Technologies has announced its partnership with SUSE LINUX to provide Linux users access to high-demand PC games and applications on their desktops.

The SUSE LINUX Wine Rack is an add-on package enabling buyers of SUSE 9.0--Personal or Professional--to enhance their Linux experience by being able to run numerous Windows applications on the Linux desktop--including the world's hottest video games. TransGaming's recently-released WineX 3.2 lets Wine Rack users play triple-A blockbuster titles such as Max Payne 2, Battlefield: 1942, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Diablo II, WarCraft III and hundreds of other titles on the Linux desktop.

"We're proud to have TransGaming's WineX 3.2 featured in the SUSE LINUX Wine Rack package," states TransGaming Co-CEO and President Vikas Gupta. "Gamers demand that we keep pace with the industry's hottest releases, thus driving TransGaming's development efforts. Partnering with progressive companies like SUSE--recently acquired by Novell for USD $210M--dramatically underscores the demand for, and the mounting momentum and potential of, the Linux desktop."

"The inclusion of TransGaming's WineX technology contributes to making Wine Rack a powerful expansion product package available to SUSE LINUX 9.0 users," comments Dr. Martin Sommer, SUSE Product Manager, Consumer Products. "We look forward to future opportunities to work with TransGaming to further secure the Linux desktop suite of products."

The SUSE LINUX Wine Rack retails for $39.99 and is available now at:
