"Sony Corp has chosen the Linux operating system to power its
car navigation system, equipped with a hard disk drive, which is
due for release in June.
"Other manufacturers have developed proprietary operating
systems, or are using uITRON or the Windows Automotive operating
system developed by Microsoft Corp..."
