"I've performed countless Linux installations in my lifetime but I've never seen anything compared to Xandros' installer. The 'Express Install' can be performed in four steps. That puts Windows to shame. The other type of install you can do is a 'Custom Install' and this is what I chose, of course. "Custom "is a good word to describe it because you definitely don't need to be an expert to go through this option.

"The main difference between the Express and Custom installs is that the Express performs automatic partitioning on your system. It takes over your entire drive, creates partitions and installs packages. The only things you have to do is to set the administrator password, add a regular user for day to day use, and set your computer name. The Custom Install is a little more complicated, but not much. You can actually take over the partitioning scheme manually..."
