much I rely on lynx, the text-mode web browser. So I thought I'd
write a few words explaining just what it is about that clunky old
program that so appeals to me.

command-line browser from W3C (Did anyone ever? I suppose they must
have. I actually down-loaded and tried it out. Surprisingly usable,
especially if you've used gopher and are used to that simple menu
mentality). Or think of Mosaic. Remember that? No, thought not.
I do, but then I'm very, very old..."
