Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"Lenovo Group Ltd, the world's third largest personal computer
maker, is planning to offer the Linux operating system in consumer
PCs it plans to sell in Singapore next year.
"'We're exploring offering Linux in the consumer space in
Singapore,' Howie Lau, country general manager of Lenovo Singapore,
told BizIT in an interview. 'Depending on customer demand, we may
offer Linux on PCs when we enter the consumer space next year with
Lenovo branded consumer PC products...'"
