LinuxForum 2006 is the
9th Open Source conference in a row held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The conference is a very popular conference, and today the largest
IT-conference in the Nordic region. The conference is a low budget
and high quality running over two days around the first weekend of
Friday March 3 is primarily our sponsors' and exhibitors' day
where they can show their stuff with business-oriented speakers
from both Denmark and abroad in all areas concerning Linux, BSD and
Open Source. Obviously there will be exhibitions Saturday too.
Around 30 companies will participate.
Saturday March 4 will be the classic LinuxForum format with
technical speeches concerning Linux, BSD and Open Source, user
group booths and exhibitions from many companies,
exhibitor-speeches and competitions.
This year LinuxForum features Alan Cox (Linux kernel hacker),
Louis Suarez-Potts (OpenOffice.org), Simon Phipps, (Sun
Microsystems), Wietse Venema (Postfix et al), Kalle Dalheimer
(Kolab), Lars Rasmussen (Google), Thomasz Kojm (ClamAV), Mirko
Dolle (LinDVR), Dan Klein, and many others. Also enjoy a press
conference between Microsoft, Louis Suarez-Potts, and several
others discussing open standards for documentation--a very hot
topic of the IT-industry. See more at http://linuxforum.dk/
