"In my previous column, I took a look at why gaming sucks so bad
on Linux. As you can imagine the Linux faithful took me to task for
my heretical views, but is there any substance to their hysteria?
I'll dissect some of their feedback and see if their arrows hit the
mark or if they are simply out to lunch.
"One thing I was taken to task for was that I didn't mention
publishers besides the now defunct Loki. It's a fair point and I
should have added that information in my original column. Linux
Games Publishing, GarageGames, Id Software, RuneSoft and a few
others do produce Linux games or Linux versions of PC Games. Kudos
