Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"After 21 months of development Debian has released version 4.0
codenamed Etch to the public on April, 8th 2007. In Debian time 21
months is downright snippy, which is a good thing. Trust me on
that. Their last (in)famous release Debian 3.1 'Sarge' took a near
vista-esque length of time for release (3+ years), so here's hoping
the colorful Debian gang can keep up to their more reasonable year
and a half release cycle.
"In fairness to the Debian group, their releases have always
been held up on a pedestal for its stability and security..."
