Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"The top leader of Linuxchix resigned yesterday in the midst of a controversy over her leadership style. In a statement released to all Linuxchix mailing lists, coordinator Mary Gardiner said her decision was a difficult one, but because of a 'mismatch in goals, LinuxChix should be run by someone with a better relationship with its current (implicit) goals.'

"Earlier yesterday, a group of LinuxChix volunteers posted a letter to the community. 'We are a group of volunteers of LinuxChix, some of whom have been active parts of this community since 2000 or earlier. We have been disturbed and dismayed by a series of events that took place around the issue of the Linuxchix IRC server. These events have broad implications for the governance and future of Linuxchix...'"
