"UK-based ARM has announced that it and six companies will work
together to develop a Linux-based open source platform for
next-generation mobile applications.
"The collaboration, which includes Marvell, MontaVista, Movial,
Mozilla, Samsung, and Texas Instruments, was announced at the
fourth annual ARM Developers' Conference being held this week in
Santa Clara, California, and will work to accelerate the enablement
of Linux-based truly always on, connected mobile computing (CMC)
