"Most people of the technical bent are forever poking and
prodding at the insides of what we use. Whether it be a radio,
clock, car or computer it is in our curious nature to wonder how
things work and investigate them. I am no different and I love to
pull things apart to find out what makes them tick. Even better is
the feeling I get at having whatever I pulled apart still work
after putting it back together.
"Of course my favorite operating system is no different. The way
I figure it is that the more I know about it the better I can use
it so I am always adding this or that, removing or changing one
thing or another. In fact to make sure I can effectively support
other people I purposely do stupid things to break my system and
then try and fix it..."
