"You will need the following software:

Inkscape (This is to create frames. You can also use GIMP, but this guide will use Inkscape.)
ImageMagick suite (For animating.)
FFmpeg (For converting to video.)

You will also obviously need one of the GNU/Linux distros or another free UNIX like operating system (*BSD, Solaris) and not be a total stranger to command line terminals. ;)"
