"It doesn't matter whether we need to do scripting, console or
even graphical work. We can do it with ease. All without disturbing
the end user at all.
"If we need to do console work we can start up an ssh session
and away we go. If we need to do some graphical work we can simply
login to an xdmcp session and do our thang. Install programs,
remove programs, apply patches or change settings. It is all at the
tips of our fingers. We are what they call the ghost in the
machine.
"However this only applies to the Linux world or the *nix world
in general. Even the (supposedly) simple and easy to use Apple has
this ability due to the fact that they are based off of BSD."
