"LliureX 9.09, an Ubuntu-based educational distribution
developed by the Council of Culture, Education and Sport at the
Municipality of Valencia in Spain, has been released. New features
and software packages: a LliureX control centre that allows
teachers to control the activity of students in the computer room,
with support for thin clients; F-Spot - an application for managing
digital images; Gobby - a collaborative editor; Gmount-ISO - a
graphical utility for mounting ISO images; new tools for cleaning
and restoring a desktop; new tools for creating educational digital
objects, such as resource preparation, mind maps and desktop
recordings; a new TrueType font installer; a set of new custom
tools for configuring applications and for broadcasting audio and
video"
