"Motorola is believed to be preparing two new Android-based cell
phones for introduction at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in
Las Vegas next week, according to a market analyst.
"Global Equities Research Analyst Trip Chowdhry said in a
research note to clients that he believes the company "may
announce" a second phone for Verizon Wireless, which already has
the hugely-popular Droid, and one for AT&T, which does not
carry a Motorola Android phone as yet.
"Chowdhry's sources indicate one phone would have an OLED soft
keyboard screen and the other would have a physical keyboard
similar to the Droid. The two would run the Google Experiences
software environment rather than the company's proprietary MotoBlur
