"In a surprise move, Microsoft has rejected the
critically-acclaimed adventure game Machinarium, thus denying Xbox
360 owners the chance to download it via the Xbox LIVE Arcade.
Czech developer Amanita Design has stated that the rejection had
nothing to do with the quality of the atmospheric point-and-click
mystery game. Rather, Microsoft was fearful that Mac and Linux
users would drain away precious sales.
