"If you are looking for a Linux toy that really rocks, your
search ends here. This is a stringless digital guitar and it's
powered by Linux
"This is what is called a "digital guitar" by it's designer. So
it's not a electrical guitar but a device for creating digital
music. The Misa guitar runs Gentoo Linux on an AMD Geode processor
and it has MIDI and Ethernet ports for connectivity.
"The interface is a touchpad LCD screen with a 5 wire resistive
touch sensor. As there's gentoo Linux on the device and there seem
to be a lot of digital keys on the guitar I bet it can be hacked
into many other things than a guitar alone. As Linux bases
synthesizers are available it can probably be turned into a music
studio that rocks in your hands."
