Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"ViewSonic have today announced the ViewPad 7, the world's first 7″ Android tablet with phone capability.

"The ViewPad 7 is an all-new capacitive multi-touch 7″ tablet featuring 3G, Wi-Fi, Blutooth and front and rear facing cameras. From what we've seen so far ViewSonic's latest device takes Dell's lead with the Streak, but increases product size to bring it closer in line with the Apple iPad.

"ViewSonic say the lightweight, pocket-sized design means the ViewPad 7 is ideal for anyone who needs a mobile connection and a wide range of applications including email and video courtesy of the Android Market. It will feature Android 2.2 and is expected to weight in at under £350 upon launch."
