More Android tablets break cover

"Navigation device manufacturer Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced a seven-inch, Android-based tablet called the "gPad GCOM701" at last weekend's IFA show in Berlin. Also at the show, Foryoudigital demonstrated its five-inch, Android-powered MX10, and Enspert announced that it built the "Identity Tab" Android tablet recently released by Korean carrier KT.

"Known primarily for its automotive navigation systems, Rydeen Mobile Electronics announced the gPad GCOM701 tablet last week at the IFA show, still underway in Berlin through tomorrow. The seven-inch GCOM701 runs an unstated version of Android on an 800MHz Marvell Armada 166 processor, according to a press release posted by Phandroid, as well as additional specs published by Gizmag."
